The 160 watt "potentiometer-in-line heater control" included in the heater package comes as a flying or free-hanging housing type. It is also available with a few extensions for mounting and installation on fittings, panels and trim, making it ideal for setting an individual heating temperature for 24V battery-powered and vehicle-powered heating mats, seat heaters and heated clothing. The active heat supply is continuously adjustable and provides excellent heating even in extremely cold conditions. The waterproof heater control unit can be quickly accommodated in a small space and easily attached using double-sided adhesive tape, Velcro or cable ties. The plug-in connections to the on-board power supply and the connecting cables are waterproof, and additional safety electronics such as reverse polarity and overvoltage protection give the control unit value and durability.
