Heatable Rubber Mat "Arktic", robust, 30cm X 50cm

The "Arktic" heated rubber mat is a premium product made-in-Germany and designed for rugged outdoor and indoor use. It is equipped with a 3mm thick, non-slip surface in checker plate pattern (tear structure) and is therefore safe for work use. The heating is full-surface and even heat distribution, there are no hot spots and also no cold bridges. The heating power is strong 44W, thus it is guaranteed that the rubber mat "Arktic" maintains a very comfortable temperature of 30°C to 45°C even on very cold floor tiles and stone below 0°C as well as on outdoor frosty floors. "Arktic" provides the excellent foot warmth on cold floors that a radiator or heater is unable to provide, even at a high heat setting. At the same time, the operating costs for a warmed foot area amount to only about 3 cents per hour of operation - that's a big saving when you calculate by how much the heating level can be reduced for room heating, radiator or heater.

The electrosmog-free rubber mat is characterized by a higher quality NR/SBR rubber compound. Compared with other standard mats, this premium mat smells much less of rubber, which allows it to be used indoors. Also, the tear strength is higher, which ensures a longer service life. The checker plate mat is wear resistant, easy to clean and suitable for heavy duty and long term use. The bottom side is glued with a profile-less rubber, so no drilling or edging is needed. A sabotage-resistant heating mat is incorporated into the intermediate layer of the rubber mat, providing full-surface and even heating, supported with a heat-insulating nitrile rubber that keeps heat loss to the floor very low. An insulating padding made of microfleece provides optimal and even heat distribution for the mat surface, furthermore this provides physical relief as well as increase of concentration and performance for professionals who usually have to perform for hours on hard and ice cold floor. An important side effect of this heated work mat is active support for physical integrity and a non-negligible protection against cold-related sick days.

"Arktic" with dimensions 40cm x 60cm is used in cold stores, warehouses and work or office containers as a floor heating or heatable floor mat. Also in outdoor use in work baskets and lifting platforms, on market and exhibition stands, an excellent, permanent floor warming is achieved. For camping, caravans, at winter markets, outdoor events, as a personal warming island as well as at open-air fairs for employees and guests, the rubber warmers provide excellent, very relaxed and pleasant foot warming with optimum energy efficiency. If stone and metal floors, plastic and wooden floors are -20°C and colder, Heizteufel recommends placing an additional insulating mat under the "Arktic" to optimize the heat output.

The Heizteufel heating technology is incorporated under the flame-retardant, eco-friendly rubber cover. The heating technology is insensitive to moisture and humidity, non-electrostatic and odorless. In addition, the heating technology is particularly safe to operate and free of electrosmog due to its low-voltage operation. Creeping currents, for example, caused by wetness are excluded by the completely encapsulated heating technology. Therefore, there is no danger from the heating technology if ice and snow thaws under the shoe sole in winter, granulate, glass splinters and other pointed objects enter the heat mat. Cleaning the mat can be done with a damp cloth and a vacuum cleaner.

In the optional scope of delivery, a professional industrial power supply unit is used, which is designed for continuous operation of the heated rubber mat with 50,000 operating hours. These features speak for a good quality of the electronic components combined with an excellent efficiency, which furthermore reduces your power consumption and thus your electricity costs.

Practical tip: floors can be extremely cold, even with high unhealthy, dry and dusty room air temperature. A very good heating performance on the feet at the same time provides a rising warm air to the lower legs. The advantage of relaxed working is combined with the reduction of heating costs, because in many cases it leads to a significant lowering of the room air temperature. Where previously the feet froze even at 25°C air temperature, with the heatable rubber mats "Arktic" heating costs are efficiently saved, because only a room temperature of 22°C and even less is needed.
