Multiple heating zones can be integrated into the slip sack so that thighs, knees, buttocks, calves and feet are heated. Very thin, highly flexible heating wires are incorporated into the heating pads of the slip sack and provide even heating without cold bridges or hot spots. An application-safe thermostat control provides comfortable heating at 39°C. No temperature setting is necessary, so potential setting errors or overheating are also avoided. For people with a sense of temperature, there are also multi-stage push heating controls and rotary potentiometer heating controls.
The heating technology produced by Heizteufel is incorporated into both new and used slip bags. In this process, the power supply cable channels are sewn into the slip sack. How large the heating surface and where exactly the heating pads should be incorporated, you can determine yourself.

- a) battery heating package for manual wheelchairs or electric wheelchairs with low battery power
- b) E-wheelchair battery operation: please specify the charging plug type (usually XLR), the operating voltage and the e-wheelchair brand.
- If additional heating options are planned for the future (gloves, upper body, seat or back heating), please let us know in your order. We will then determine / optimize the total heating package.
- Variant: Send the slip bag, additional materials and information with an accompanying Heizteufel service bill to our company address. You will receive a concrete cost estimate from us.
Heizteufel offers the following connection options for the power supply and associated special functions for wheelchair users:
- Connection to the 12V DC and 24V DC wheelchair on-board socket with on-board power supply connector connection cable.
- Connection to the 24V DC charging socket of the wheelchair with a model-specific charging plug connection cable
- Powerful 12V DC battery packs suitable for outdoor use
- In conjunction with the battery packs and on-board power supply, we recommend 39°C fixed temperature thermostats as accessories. We also offer adjustable heating controls in touchless and pushbutton form. This allows you to set the specified heating power / temperature according to your needs.
- A special case in the heating temperature selection are persons with low or no heat sensation. In order to avoid burns as well as hypothermia, instead of adjustable heating controls, so-called small, waterproof thermostatic controls are incorporated into the slip bag heating mats, which maintain the heating temperature at 39°C regardless of the respective weather and clothing. This technology was originally developed for athletic wheelchair activities such as ice curling and hand biking competitions. Today, it represents a safe comfort option.
- The heating time is between 2 and 8 hours depending on the number of heating zones, the size of the battery pack, the ambient temperature and at 37°C heating power.
