The connection and interconnect cables provide 1/4 the maximum heat output of 12V battery powered and 13.8V vehicle powered heated gloves or foot warmers with the included serial Y adapter cable. This type of active heat supply provides good basic heating without never getting too warm - thus eliminating the need for a heater control. However, this can be retrofitted at any time, so if a higher or adjustable heat output is desired.
