The 160 watt handlebar control included in the heating package is ideal for setting an individual heating power of 24V battery-powered heated gloves, foot warmers, kidney belt and seat heater. The active heat delivery is continuously adjustable and provides excellent heating even in extremely cold conditions. While the potentiometer circuit is quickly and easily attached to a round handlebar by means of Velcro tape, the incorporated foam rubber provides the necessary grip against slipping when actuated, the waterproof control unit finds any installation position due to its very small and particularly flat design. Safety electronics such as reverse polarity and overvoltage protection give the control unit value and durability. The plug connections to the on-board power supply and the connecting cables are also waterproof.
